Have you tried to forward ports?
I'm not sure this is absolutely necessary, because the few times I hosted a (dedicated) server (on GP Bikes) I didn't do that. And people were still able to connect.
On the GP Bikes forum I once read that when ports are succesfully forwarded the ping shows up for the clients. But I also cannot confirm this.
But you can try.
And can one of your friends try to host a server?

And Steven my friends can host a lobby but when they're not on and I host a session no one can connect or when they come on they cannot connect
