Title: Locking up in menus very low fps

:-\ :-\ I have a 250GTS, Core 2 @ 2.7ghz, Win XP & it does not like it at all.
Have lowered my settings to medium, shadows off, reflections off & it still has occasional glitches. Low fps all round.

Not sure what the problem is?

Updating graphics card drivers to latest release may fix the problem.

Thanks for the reply. I checked i already have 260.99 which is the latest driver.

i have another problem regarding fps. In Singleplayer everything is fine but when i am racing online, my fps drops from 100+ to 25-30.
I've checked some graphic settings, but there was no change :( Impossible to race online.

My Computer:

i7 920, 6GB Ram, ATI HD 5870 (latest driver)

I have the same problem sometimes when I go to garage and start again
