Title: Movie Controls (dolly camera)
Post by: futureracer on March 12, 2015, 12:48:50 AM
Wondering if there was a dolly cam for movie making, really wanted to make a shortclip on krp. but its pretty hard to record smooth clips without a dolly camera, so...

is there a dolly camera? would help ALOT!

thanks!

(also is it possible to slow down the camera speed in free roam?)

It is possible to set camera movement controls in Kart Racing Pro -> Settings -> Input 3
The default keys in change the camera speed are numpad plus and minus.

Information about camera controls can be found clicking on the "?" button in the bottom left corner of the replay interface.

Could you please detail how the dolly camera should move?

Well, its ok if its a linear path, like up right straight to bottom left,
but it be nice if there was a smooth dolly line, do 360 angle, or turn around corners smoothly.

You could assign the camera controls to a gamepad or maybe a joystick to get smoother movements.
Or you could make your own camera set with TrackEd (download on the KRP page) where it is possible to make the camera move along a path or an arc.
