What a challenge it has been releasing this package within my personal deadline. It has been in the making for over 3 months now, so I'm sure that all of you are just as anxious as I am to see this package reach the level it has. As a one-man (not quite, Ian Bushey (DrKarter97), fmaisonnave, and LauZzZn have helped so much) mod team, it has been really difficult to develop this, race Rotax, and get school work out of the way. And I couldn't have done it without the help of Ian Bushey, LauZzZn, Sam Flintham, Corey Hayes, Jaden Conwright, fmaisonnave, and PiBoSo, for without him, none of this would have been possible. The development has taken a significant time, but these 3 engines are all at a point where there is very little that is inaccurate, right down to the "Turbo" on the Senior and Junior. And I'm looking for a lot of good feedback from this. I want to see this get even more accurate, just like I'm sure that you all want to, and without the help of the community, we can't improve.

There is a known bug with the full-sized Minimax kart where it will not work in multiplayer, as it will show "wrong category" error when connecting. A hot-fix will be up tomorrow, and the entire package will undergo a sound update in about a week, improving the low-idle of the kart. Also, the Minimax rules have change 5+ times in the last 3 years, if somebody has a 2014 Rotax Minimax without rev-limiter dyno-sheet, please send it so we can get an update out, otherwise we will revert to a version from pre-2013 (2009-2012 era engine).

As of now I am going to have to discontinue support for the Full sized Minimax kart, as it has proven to be really messed up when it comes to online racing. It will be back, so don't worry, but time is more effectively spent if I stop supporting that MiniMax kart for now. The next update will include a Micro Max engine (maybe with sounds) and may have a early version if the DD2.

Not every country uses front brakes on the senior, here in UK we don't if you want them you'll have do edit some files
2015 it will never give the frontbrakes at senior
All rules and karts are from the 2013 Grand Finals. No front brakes because they are only used for 2 or 3 series world-wide. Malaysia just banned them, they are not included on the karts.

No. It isn't like a skin from what I am aware. I will work on it, but as of now, no. And if you do paint it, everybody's engine would have that same skin, so individuality is lost.
Corrie can you look to the Senior engine its REV up to 14.300 :D
Both the Senior and Junior need to be redone on the top end. After some racing two weekends ago, I can affirm the Junior goes up to 14100 easily in real life. They will be fixed.

Would you guys like to see the manual lever front brake on the Rotax Senior? If so, would you want to be able to race front brake and non-front brake karts together, or would you want it to be a separate category? Also, with the modified engine series coming up, what would you want to see. With the front brake being able to be used, it is between 2 and 7 tenths faster depending on the length of straights and deceleration areas on the specific track (the front brake would be much more beneficial at Genk/Lonato than it would be at Es Course, which has flowing corners not too good for front brakes) and this could be used to balance the X30, Leopard Senior and Rotax Senior. I'm not sure if it would be possible to run front brake and non-front brake karts together without running "open", but I will try. What is your opinion? Post feedback, as it really helps!

The helmet is my personal helmet, and isn't quite finished and the RK is still being touched up. When they get finished up, I'll make a Birel download with the Anniversary kart, the new 2014 kart, RK, and others.

As of now, info does not work with the Rotax Package. An update will be available soon that patches the issues and incompatibilities due to the file system tweaks from Beta 10/10b to 11.

Experimenting with the availability of different airboxes. I used the Junior model, as it was the base model with a powervalve imported. It will be there in the next release along with multiple airbox support, as well as newer physics (hopefully, if not, in the next release) and the new file system compatibility. There may be some balancing done soon, since the SKUSA series will be trying to run balanced X30, Senior Leopard, and Senior Rotax. Updates to come, but as of now I have fixed the file system changes, so the "Info" tab will display accurate information.

There is a chance that I will do the new Birel Factory bodywork, which will also be released soon. However, I noticed that the drivers at EuroMax Challenge in Genk were all running stock numbers. What is the community's opinion on the numbers? Stock numbers, or should there be Freeline, OTK, and other brands numbers?

You didn't look very hard, as it is the new KG nose and fairing. My team recently recieved a shipment of them from the Birel Factory and I am modeling them. ( As a side note, PiBoSo, in the future, will changing bodyworks be able to have an effect on handling? The change in real life helps to set the front end on corner entry)

i think separate is best because you can always add both if you wanted when making a server ;)

I think the rotax could use a little more "midrange burst". Other than that the mod is excellent!

Hello Corrie, I've been dropping the kart racing pro file into my kart racing pro directory and nothing happens? Do you know why this happens? Or am I doing something wrong?
Put the files in the "engines" directory in the KRP folder.
Connor is right, just drag and drop the "engines" and "karts" folders into the KRP installation directory.

Yes he is, look at his WIP thread.
The update is coming. He is working on incorporating the MOJO tires into the sim, both D1s and D2s. The powerbands and modeling is all but set, so once those tires are complete the package should be ready for release. Rather than simply converting over from beta 11, Corrie/Birel-Rotax 42 wanted to also release an updated version. The version that he will released will also be utilized for the SKWC Championship in its upcoming season.

With the first official version of KRP around the corner, meaning within a few weeks, my time would be better spent waiting for the new version instead of updating an old version. Many things are planned. Although there hasn't been any communication, the model has been improved tremendously, and we've got new information about the engines. All of this is to come, but I'll be updating it for the first official version KRP - sorry, guys.
