I've run into a very frustrating problem while trying to play the demo for KRP. Upon clicking the desktop shortcut, a black screen appears and the game crashes immediately afterwards. I've downloaded the most recent version (10) and it's preceding versions and it has not fixed the problem. Clean removals of the game from my computer and reinstalling it all didn't work the several times I did it. It was working just fine back when I first installed it months ago. I could do everything in the demo, but once I closed it out and tried to play it again later, it would immediately crash. I reinstalled it and it worked, until I quit the game out. Now it no longer works. Please help, I really enjoyed the previous times I played this game, and I really want to fix this problem.
Please try updating your graphics drivers
Graphics driver updated. No effect. Additionally, when I double click the icon, the mouse cursor will show loading and then stop. Double clicking it again will bring up the game and it will instantly crash.
Well I guess my problem is something of a rarity if no one else has any solutions. Backing up my statement, my graphics driver has been successfully updated to the latest driver released on 10/8/13. My graphics card is the AMD Radeon HD 5670 also.

Download the latest beta krp 10b. Overwright the existing kart.exe. Right click on kart.exe, run as administrator.
If it does not help, create a new user on win7. Try then as the new user.
Restore the graphiccard settings to default.

Hot damn, creating a new user worked. Can now play it as many times as I want. Thanks a lot man.
