I orginally had problems with trying to import it into the game. Ill start trying again with another earlier 3ds program. I ve heard the plugins are more reliable so... ill see

May be in about a week or 2. I can release it to u guys now, but the thing has the physics of the kf3. Thats up to u guys though if u want me to release it now without anything done to the physics, sounds...
My vote is nah wait a few weeks you have done it properlly all the way so might aswell finish it properlly instead of releasing heaps of beta's later :)

Already fixed the disapperance. Just working on a more accurate curve and allowing for less gears in front and more gearing options in the back, which will be released in Beta 1b. Ill send u a link after i get home from school today. Note of warning, your gonna have to reassign some textures i believe. Also be my guest on working on the chain. Not sure how to animate.

Alright, two public service announcements:
1. Since I am making the HPV Sportsmen and HPV Jr., I am asking if someone will be willing to private message me each of these dynos if you have them. Please message me as soon as possible.
2. There will be a re-release of Beta 4 as I have realized that the curve is too strong. The reason for the original curve being so slow was that the kart had to have weighed something like 1 ton! I fixed the curve for that and it is now a bit too powerful now that I lowered the weight to the correct weight.

Hi I just downloaded the beta 4 and it is a notepad when I put it into my engines folder then go on the game it doesn't work please can someone help me :)
I will recheck the file download when I get home

Hmmm... it seems to be working properly. Can you try again? If you have other engines, you are going to have to extract the folders/files inside the "karts" and "engines" folder that is in the .rar file. Then place them into the folders that are already labeled "karts" and "engines" (Located in: C:/Program Files/Kart Racing-Pro).

Please read the ReadMe file before installing. I was not able to include the Sportsman/Jr. Models because I did not receive any dynos for them. If I do get them, there will be a V2.0. As of now, this is the final release. If need be, the HPV will be updated to be able to run on any further KRP Betas/Versions.

A little different, but somewhat similar.
Yes, it's been a long time since this has had an update and I thought the motor was dead. But since a league had contacted me and asked to update the engine so it may be ran, I spruced it up and made it to what it is now. You will have to adjust your setup a bit more now that there is less grip in the tires (including wet), making setup become key. The engine temp will also play into effect as well. Drafting and pushing should no longer chuck you across the track. This definitely should not be a problem if you are running a dedicated server and have good ping. Good Luck and Have Fun!

its been a year since this thread has been active so almost certainly not, especially since the author is in college and doesn't play krp any more
