you can also view the rfactor version of the track?
Title: Re: Sarno
Post by: LauZzZn on April 27, 2013, 11:13:07 AM
i already did that but you can see nothing because of its very very bad quality. why you just go there and make pictures when you want the track? its everything i need.

I'm 800+km from Sarno. otherwise I would go to take pictures, so I also did some testing with my kart. I'm sorry ;D

Find them yourself, you have volunteered to make the track, so you should be the one gathering info. (its just like you say to everyone else's track requests - "do it yourself, its so easy".

please keep your snobbish remarks to yourself, I don't know why you chose to be rude but Lauzzzn is one of the biggest contributors to this game and the community, and yes more people should do stuff themselves, when we have time we like to help, but we're not getting paid for this and we can't do everything... so if your comment isn't helping, you probably shouldn't comment at all... ;D

Clova, stay out of it mate, LauZzZn is rather rude to people and Praga was just basically saying it back to LauZzZn. Don't you even think about getting lippy with me mate or I will hug you -.-

Um excuse me Clova if you have read the previous comments that LauZzZn has made on other peoples posts/requests, it is rather arrogant for you to come here and tell me that i am rude and snobbish which makes you look like an Idiot, for the reason i am saying this is because he wont do it unless someone else finds him the stuff as to him making a voting page and then relying on so many other people to get him all the Information on the track that he has VOLUNTEERED to make, if you want to help him, go ahead by all means, but it should be his main priority of gathering data not everyone elses. And i totally agree with you that he has made a massive contribution to the community, but he could use a little less attitude and arrogance towards new peoples comments. So LauZzZn this is NOT a personal attack on you in anyway just be a little nicer to people :)

People like you are the reason tht LauZzZn and Evo and Schwoni stopped modding. Have you ever done anything for the community? Don't bash people for being busy because you are impatient and ignorant to the work people have to put in.

Both of you want everything from everyone and give nothing in return. It's people like you and Calle, as well as other people with your mindset that ruined the World Racing Series and GP bikes communities, and are now going to kill Kart Racing Pro's modding base. At least give something back to the community if you are going to whine about people who have other things in life than KRP.

This is the result of people not understanding the priorities of oyher people. He has school, racing, and personal life. That is why it has taken a year. Now he is done with people asking for the world and not giving any respect to those who are doing this FOR FREE. I could have just as easily charged money on a different forum or just plain not released it. Have some respect for people who give out services that they don't want anything in return.

If you think that me helping the community and you complaining is not giving respect, I must be the worst person in the world. But you don't do anything for anyone and expect us to give you respect? Treat others the way that you want to be treated, man.

Exactly.

If you spend so much of your own time creating a track why should you release it for free? In the real world, 3d modelling pays extremely well. £50 an hour or more in some cases, especially with 3DSMax. There are a lot of amateurs out there who release stuff for free and good on them. But there are also a lot of very skilled people out there who create high quality content, and why should they feel obliged to release stuff on the whim of the community who gives back nothing in return?

I understand 100 % your reasoning, but for a game that you flip on curbs, it just isnt reasonable for someone to start charging money for a track, especially because leagues like SKWC cant run it because nobody will show up.

The problem is I don't think that a lot of people understand the work that is involved in making a track, If a person wants to charge money it is up to that person it has nothing to do with the quality of the game it is the time and work that a person has to put into it, it is easy to say that a person should not charge when you don't have to do anything.
