Hi my name is Oscar Ortiz and I started to race with go-kart in 2009. I've always driven in kartingCampillos so, it was made for rFactor and I decided to convert. It's going to be my first convertion, and I need help cause I've a problem with the trees, they look like a 2D object and it is strange for me. Can someone help me? You have to clone tree's planes and then flip them.
Tienes que clonar los planos que forman los árboles y luego hacer un flip de la textura. Si no no se ven más que por un lado y no parecen árboles. Cuelga unas capturas para que veamos si esto lo que te digo.

Thanks prostix, it's Karting Campillos in Málaga, Spain. It's an international track where Euro Rotax Winter Series are celebrated, and Spanish National Championship. The creator is "Liquido" is a member of simracing.es he did the track to rfactor, and he doesn't mind the people convert his jobs to other sims. I'm converting the track and Aritz is helping me, it's my first convertion. I hope to do a good job for all us. Probably the decoration won't be perfect, but the layout is going to be very good.
Primero seleccionas el árbol, en el menú de la derecha, seleccionas modify y luego le das a polygon.Tienes que seleccionar un plano del objeto árbol, CTRL+V para clonarlo y luego le das a FLIP. Con flip lo que haces es darle la vuelta a una de las texturas para que se vea el árbol por ambos lados, lo que es necesario ya que en el KRP solo se ven las texturas de un lado y no desde los dos ;)
Eso uno a uno y recuerda que tienes que duplicar TODOS los planos de CADA árbol. Al final cada árbol tiene que tener 4 planos en vez de 2.
No sería más fácil hacer uno bueno e ir duplicandolo??

I've got a doubt, how do Iedit the grill? Is it an auto-function of Piboso's Track Tools or I have to create it in 3dsMax? If I have to do it in 3dsMax I don't know how. Please help

You must do the flip thing on many objects, like fences, trees and all the single plane walls. It is quite usual to let this undone with rFactor conversions and it is a big mistake, they look awful ::)
Debes hacer lo del FLIP en muchas cosas! Vallas, árboles y todos los muros que sean con un solo plano. Es típico de las conversiones de rFactor dejarse eso sin hacer y es horrible!
Grill sería la parrilla pero la de asar carne ;D

I think I have it done. Splits are to separate t1,t2, aren't them?? I have it, my next problem is to join every file in a .pkz file. I'm late with the finish cause I've discovered a problem with the objects and the kerbs were normal asphalt I'm repairing it now. Anyway here a news screenshots:

You have to add skies and amb files
Copy them from other tracks, usually they are the same as lonato.
You can edit amb file for nicer lights or even night or fog weather! I did it for Escourse and it was nice (not easy to do though)
if you wanna have some nice skies just copy those from liedolsheim ;)

No sé a los lados que te refieres Aritz, el borde de la pista?? Lo puse de otro color porque me gustaba el efecto de terreno así más cesped y el borde como más de tierra. Pero vaya que era por probar.

Ok Aritz I'm going to do it. I was testing the track in game, it looks like good enough, it will be ready when I finish the textures. But I have a problem the timing doesn't work.

There are many possible problems with that...
Most of the time the problem is left/right values in Race Data. Are they ok? Show us yours ;)
Hay mil cosas que pueden estar mal.
La mayoría de las veces es por poner al revés los valores izq/der cuando creas la parrilla, pits etc. Pon unas capturas de cómo has puesto para que veamos y no seas tacaño y pon varias, que se vea todo bien ;)
Estoy haciendo lo del UVW Map no me queda igual de bien que a tí pero ha mejorado bastante el aspecto, he flipeado los árboles y está quedando todo aceptablemente bien, una pena no poder dejarlo igual que la hicieron los creadores pero creo que vamos a disfrutar mucho esta pista.
I'm doing what the UVW Map, I do not have just as well as you but has greatly improved the look, I flip trees and everything is running fairly well, a shame not to do it like the creators did, but I think we to really enjoy this track.

Hi guys, the track runs in krp correctly, but it just a beta, there are a lot of things to repair, the shadows don't appear in the game, when the track is wet everything is shinning, there are a sector where the track's elevation is not real and I don't know how to change it using 3ds max. I have the 3ds project and the track, I would like someone who know use 3ds perfectly finish the project, but it you prefer use the track without finish I can upload.
When exporting, click "generate shadowmaps" on the right side. Good luck, cant wait for this track!
