i'm happy to announce a bell kc3 cmr.
i started making one today and i already have a 3d model i need now all the details and it should be finished soon!
is there going to be a bell paint template? or does the SK6 one work with it or will Piboso make one?
no i gonna make a template for the bell helmet

i started the helmet but now i have a problem.
maybe evo could look at the file and maybe he knows why it doesnt work or maybe anyone else does.
the helmet model is only a alpha version so don't look at it so much.

I followed this tutorial to bring it into 3ds max

With fbx converter I could only convert it to .obj but still could import it into 3ds.

Did everything like him selected the planes so they were red and selected then clicked on smoothing group one and nothing happened.

Great job on this one! I'm not sure about the size, maybe you can do some screens and just compare the size to the original KRP helmet^^

have you got the visor transparent yet? when you do the uvwrap try to make the spoiler easy skin
the helmet template is very good for skinning only the visor is not very good. but i have some problwms to get the skin ingame because the paint you see at the moment is in 3dsmax with textures. do i have to delete the textures in 3dsmax or how does it work?

In terms of size try to compare to piboso's arai, with screenshots from straight in front and the side of the guy, I guess.

Nice work. Piboso how do we make helmets and bodyworks skin able with painted and not just max?
i thought about that,too because with painted it shows up the option to choose the skin ingame but hasnt worked

if you map on the helemet a texture with name helmet.tga and visor as visor.tga then export then make .pnt and put in a "paint" folder in your helmet folder it doesnt work?

PNT files work with any file name.

i got a working template for 3ds max now but it doesnt work as a paint at the moment
but i can promis that the templates are very easy to paint!
