To keep the engine in the optimum temperature range:
KC3:50
KC1:50
KS1:50
FS250:60

Lars, which outside temp are you referring to? I think it depends on air temperature right?

I'm not quite sure about the cover yet, but if temp is not optimum, the warning light is on, right?
I used about 10-15% yesterday on kc3, 22° air temp.

Your engine should be about 50 or 60 degrees. Offcourse this isn't always possible. Yes warning light is on if the temperature is either too low or too high.
It depends on air temperature how warm your engine gets. That's why you can put less or more cover on.

I can post some info available in telemetry data.

Kart | Lower Temp Warning | Optimum | Higher Temp Warning
FS250 | 52 | 60 | 72
KS1 | 42 | 50 | 62
KC3 | 42 | 50 | 62
KC1 | 42 | 50 | 62

Your display shows water temp. Engine temp is usually 2-4 degrees higher.

Lol I misunderstood Lars' posting, I thought he was posting % of radiator cover. That was why I was confused because of static values. Regarding it as ideal engine temp, it makes perfect sense ;)
