Title: clearsky.edf - how to create my own?

Hey there,
just wanted to know how i can create my own clearsky.edf with my own Sky Texture?
Maybe piboso could help me?

i think it is a sky dome you export as a mesh, but ths is just a guess.

like a massive sphere with a texture mapped on it.  Ive seen some really amazing ones for rfactor.  but ive never made one so im probably wrong

I did some tests with the sky.

The best is to open a rFactor sky with 3dMax and work with it changing the textures, or learn about them (size, shape, etc)

is the mountain scene also in the skydome or is that a seperate textrue mapped cylinder or something. Looks great

Here the default Skydome of rFactor, deleted some objetcs and converted to a MAX file with the original textures. Open it with 3dMax and edit it:
