For those out there that hide the driver and steering wheel in cockpit view whether it be for better frames per second or just personal preference this mod puts the HUD display in the middle of the screen giving you better view to the sides. Maybe this is something that can be integrated seamlessly into the next release.

I made a different texture for smoke to hide it and a file mod to reduce it (backup included)
No Brake Whine
My kart doesnt generate brake whine so i modified the file to remove the sound effect (backup included)
Custom Replay Cameras
These figures are edited in your camera.cfg file located in your paints > t-kc1,c-kc1,t-ks1....etc folders
here is a little study card for making your own camera perspectives
dont use these values they are not precise.

my camera file adds:
Nose
Pedals
Helmet
Radiator
Engine
Intake
Bird's eye
enahced curb vibration and lateral g sensation
Goto your insalation directory extract misc.pkz
In the new misc folder copy and paste view.cfg
this will act as your backup
Open view.cfg with notepad
change these values to have more of a g force sensation and a greater vibration sensation on the curbs
lat_factor = 0.03 => 0.07 or 0.05
vert_factor = 0.03 => 0.1 or 0.07
long_factor = 0.05
pitch_factor = 1.5
Save and play!

Sorry, im a little confused on how to install the Custom Cameras. please help.
the diagram above is a tutorial for making your own.
If you go to my download page you can get the ones i have made.
here is how to install those:
In your KRP installation directory
extract Karts.pkz using 7-zip or similar program
(You will likely have to associate the file type for 7-zip to recognize it)
After you have extracted karts.pkz you will now have a karts folder
in that folder enter one of the chassis and engine folders (c-ks1, c-kc3, etc) paste the new camera file here.
