Title: Funding for KRP
Post by: phillippe denes on December 21, 2014, 04:42:07 AM
Dear Piboso we as a community have decided that we wish to help you beyond purchasing the game. We recognize it is hard to make 4 games when only 2 make a profit. As a result if you were to start a kickstarter or something of the sort like a go fund me we would gladly donate so you have the funding to improve your games. Many of my friends have already agreed to donate and this game has much potential that it could compete with I racing or rfactor. We beg you to do this as we all love this game and would love to help in advancements.

Any one who agrees with this and or plans to donate please 1+.

<3 from everyone at SKWC

I'll not add a +1 and put pressure on PiBoSo.

If you want to donate simply buy additional licenses - this donation button works since years for me.
Let PiBoSo go his way, I think he knows what he's doing.

Eh, the kart physics could use some work and he could make a whole lot more $$$$ if he would just put a bit more effort on multiplayer - I don't see how we can get that many more karting enthusiasts who just want a $36 game for offline testing.

@Xander Clements
Maybe I didn't express well what I meant or you misunderstood my post.

Obviously PiBoSo has decided to run his business as he does atm. If people propose to start a kickstarter or crowd funding project it would completely change his business model. That's what I mean with 'Let PiBoSo go his way, I think he knows what he's doing.'

Here I agree 100% with you. IMO multiplayer is the biggest problem of ALL PiBoSo sims and this problem costs him a lot of money. You'll also find many players at GPBikes with the same opinion. But there's hope because multiplayer was announced to be priority after GPB beta6 and KRP beta12.

Thank you very much, but not yet ready for donations.
Maybe after "release1".

In the meantime, if you want to support development, please buy licenses of KRP or the "sibling" sims ( maybe a gift for friends? ):

Is the WRS and GPB license still linked between the two?
