Title: Startup problem

When I start the game it starts to load and the startup picture of the kart appears, then it freezes and stops responding!
Does anyone have the first clue on what it is?

already tried reinstalling

Windows vista
1.5GHz
not sure others (believe above minimum requirements)

Please make sure graphics drivers are updated.

I also have problems starting the game (Beta 3 version).
When trying to start, the screen resolution is changed, but the message "kart.exe stopped working." After a few seconds the screen returns to the desktop.
I have tried reinstalling several times.
The drivers for my video card is updated.
What do I do?
