Title: Corridors mini-tutorial
Post by: Aritz on April 08, 2011, 09:13:02 PM
This tutorial is for the corridors. They are very important for the rolling start because if you don't adjust them fine, you can't do the rolling start like it has to be.

They are very easy to do:

Open track editor, open your track and then open race data:

As you can see, only one corridor is shown as default and centered in the centerline (my track has wrong centerline, it is the fast line but it doesn't matter at this point)

Corridors are both 0, you have to adjust them using ALWAYS + and - depending on what side of the corridor are you adjusting (- for the left in this track)

You have to try different values:

Yes, I have positive value for the left corridor but again, my centerline is wrong, is on the left side so the corridor also has strange values. If you do the centerline in the center, you will have minus and plus values on left and right :)
