I downloaded them off the kart racing pro site under downloads but have no idea how to add them?

Templates are for you to design your own paints, they're not a paint by themselves.
You mean add new karts, paints and driver suits, right?
Try this website to download paints, tracks, etc.. and place them in their respective folder.

ahhh I see. I figured the templates were complete karts, etc that I could just add in.

dont forget that in order to add new tracks, you have to create the folder "tracks" in the installation directory and paste inside the downloaded tracks.
the same thing applies to intakes, create the folder "intakes", to dashes, create the folder "dashes", to helmets, create the folder sequence "driver/helmets/sk6/paints" and "driver/helmets/sk6_s/paints", to kart paints, create the sequence "bodyworks/paints/fl" (for birel karts), "bodyworks/paints/nl" (for crg karts), "bodyworks/paints/nl_mini" (for the CRG mini60 kart) and "bodyworks/paints/tk" (for the Tony Kart models)
