Title: Chassis handling
Post by: phillippe denes on June 04, 2013, 07:40:22 AM
Whenever i play krp i always realize that the chassis absolutely do not handle like they do in real life. For example i have driven tony kart, CRG, and ART (obviously doesnt handle like in real life because the paint is on crg) So i was wondering that in beta 9 or 1.0 chassis should handlemore lifelike. TonyKart has the heaviest steering in all of karts and it has the least turn in too if you watch videos on youtube peoples hands barely move, as in a CRG the steering is way lighter and turn in has way more rotation. If anybody is a serious karter and knows this they would probably agree with me. If somebody could try and do this that would be great. thanks.

stupid question: have you tried, in the setup, steering ratio and ackerman at max with caster at least at 18-20 or more?
if you are not still satisfied you could try to fool (google traslator, others words: dupe mislead bluff) krp, changing values of rotation in the profiler or in the game

On the setup page of the forum people have put a few setups on that make the karts more realistic, although the setup is not like it would be in real life the end result is similar
