The best way to have a good start is to be on neutral gear while waiting the green lights.
Just berfore the green lights get a full throttle and engage the first gear while green lights comes on.
Start with the first gear doesn't give you a great impulsion.

I can't understand where is the problem, you have a G27 so:
right foot on gas and RPM almost at the max
left foot on brake for not move the kart
left hand in the clutch and gear in 1
at the start leave left pad and control the skid with gas

If you have the gears on the flappy paddles then gear one is down shift from neutral, gear two is when you shift up, so you might be putting the kart into second gear at the start not first

if he has a G27 and wants simulate, he has to setting controls as I told before, gear in the stick and clutch in the left paddle, but good point Diddy, maybe some new users don't know the KZ1 shifter simulate a motorbike gear

How do you kz karters feel about the clutch.  I know there is a proper technique to launching ahifter kart. Does krp simulate it well?  A proper clutch lever on ur sim wheel is needed i use my paddle shifter so

1st gear, full clutch, full throttle and then let the clutch out slowly put not for too long or you will wheel spin and don't let it out too fast or you will stall or get a slow start

P.S this is also good practice for if you are in KZ2 or KZ1 so you can perfect your standing starts

I use the paddle for Clutch in KRP....And now??  when i want to start then the rpms goes down and i have a bad start..but there are more reasons i dont drive krp at the time  :(
