Title: Fences in 3ds max
Post by: andri on February 10, 2013, 06:29:29 PM
Hi Pibosso  and all guys working on 3ds max.

I'm working On track but Completely on 3ds Max 2010. I did a fence but I got it Very high poly. Can you guys tell me how to make a low poly fence or if you have can you send to me your max file low poly fence. Thank you in advance.

You have to simplify it using a plane and texturizing with a alpha channeled texture:

Aritz, I got a trouble with the alpha texture... I have a black background in KRP but I got a very good transparency in 3ds max. Here 2 pics to show what I got in 3ds max and in KRP.

Ok, Thanks Aritz. I will try it.

with 3ds if you do the righteous works with the material editor, the fence is NOT transparency!
but you will see it transparency on mapview and KRP

Hi all,

I got it guys. My problem was the alpha texture from The Gimp. I don't use Photoshop. Thank you for help. Andri
