Title: G27 Steering Issue
Post by: howsyourself on May 31, 2012, 10:18:03 PM
Hello there,
I just bought KRP and calibrated my G27, then ran the Wizard t

It looks and feels fantastic until I turn the wheel about 70 degrees.
It is like it jumps 68,69,70,90 degrees.

Anyone have/ever have this before?
Would really like to get this working before my attention span runs out.

Is steer linearity ( in "advanced" section of input settings ) set to 100?
Also: is "smooth" disabled?

I have Linearity set to 97 and smooth is indeed disabled.

From more playing last night, it not the worst on d'Essay.
It is still there but it is so bad on the tight corners.
This ruins the other two tracks.

I have increased the FOV (Field of view) to 100 as recommended by someone else but no noticeable difference to the steering.

I really appreciate your help as this is a cool sim, just so close to having it work

After re install in Win 7 64 Ultimate, I have problem with FFB. Sometimes FFB loss and not in correct force, in some track I download like Laconca no FFB at all. Please help to solve this.

Thanks.  :)

Need help.... after re install in Win 7 64 Ultimate, I have problem with FFB. Sometimes FFB loss and not in correct force. Example like in Lonato when start from pit no FFB at all,  then T1 after finish line can feel feedback left only, then next lap right only and continue like that. Is very strange FFB effect, I never got this problem before in Win 7 32.

I do Install / uninstall a few times still same problem, FYI in other program like iracing, rfactor1-2 FFB works perfectly.

Thanks.  :)

It seems to work correctly for a lot of G27 users, that hopefully will be able to help you.
