I have a G25 wheel and inverted G27 pedals with a load cell.
For some reason with this version of KRP I am having the worse time setting up my controller. The steering axis will get unassigned for no reason and I have to go back and reset them every time. But the biggest problem is that when I press the brake the first part of the travel of the pedal activates the gas as well. This is visible on the colored bars and in the calibration window.
When I mapped the brake to my clutch pedal the issue went away, but when I press the brake it still activates the gas for about the first 20% of its travel.
Since I use the Bodnar cable I went to the Bodnar software to see if the activation of the gas was happening there or not. It wasn't, at least not to that degree. When I press the brake I can see the accellerator calibration bar increase but only for a couple of millimiters, probably due to some faulty ground or something similar. But in KRP those 2 mm become 50% of the gas travel and it seems to stay that way for longer as well.
If anyone has experience anything like this and knows of a fix I'd be grateful.
PS: I have just about every simulator out there, none does this. All I have to do is set the deadzone to "3" and it takes care of the spyke I press the brake
The clutch is working fine as the brake? why not use that? is furhter from the gas pedal like a real kart.
btw this belongs is the bug report section.
i have had so a problem with another wheel long time ago there was the problem that gas and brake was on same axis, let`s say Y i changed the brake to X axis and all was fine.
But u checked that allready right? i don`t know then never have had problems i have G27.
yeah in the logitech profiler is that option to allow pedals to work independently. try playing with that. I rememberr that KRP works properly without any profiler changes, for me at least with logitech driving force pro
I wanted to update this by saying that once I restarted the program, I came back and things were working much better. Pressing the brake no longer activated the gas and it seemed to remember the steering settings. In fact, I had quite a good time racing the kart and I think it never felt this good before. It really drives like a real kart.
BTW, the reason I posted here was because I wasn;t sure if it was a bug or something I was doing. Turns out it was neither, I should have just restarted and I would have had my answer.
One last update: I had setup the controller perfectly and then I quit the game for the day. When I opened it today it had forgotten all my axis inputs and I had to enter them again. There is something wrong with the controller settings. At the very least it forgets the mapping, but also when I try to map it for the first time I ahve to quit, come back and only then activating one axis does not trigger another and makes the whole process frustrating.
I'll make sure to document this further and then I will post in the proper forum.

Could you please calibrate your controllers in Kart Racing Pro and then send calib.txt ( that can be found in "My Documents"\PiBoSo\Kart Racing Pro\profiles\"your profile" ) to support@kartracing-pro.com ?
Sure. I can do better and take a video with Fraps of the calibration process, upload it to youtube and send you the link. It may give more insight to what is going on. In the past I never had a problem with calibration using the same setup.
Of course, sometimes it works fine so this depends on me being able to reproduce it.
