Title: Power valves
Post by: bingoman on February 09, 2012, 05:54:40 PM
I think it would be more real if the power valve(red thing at the back the engine) kicked in on the straight so u get more power down the straight

It does kick in i think.  The kart sure sounds differnt at a certain rpm.  like the exhaust port has opened up

It would be more real if we could set it to open later or sooner, that would be awesome,

yeah right now the engine tab in settings could use some more options
powervalve, exhasut flex length, carburator settings. Ability to really dial in the engine like in real life.

Quoteexhasut flex length,
KF doesn't have this feature since the exhaust is a single unit direct through from the port ;)

the fia wanted more control so made a standard exhaust with no flex so its all kept standard

i thought they also want make the enignes durable.  THere must be some sort of joint.  Because the exhaust manifold would break in half from all the vibration.
