Hi
I would like to start a championship just for fun and it would be really nice if we got a lot of people interested. The championship will probably last about 15 to 20 races, more or less and I will also make sure that the races aren't on the same day as other leagues. The calendar of races will be posted soon but not the dates. More information will come soon ;)

The class will be the mini 60. Tomorrow, I will confirm with you guys the race calender. ;)

The KRP World Championship Round 1 at Goldenport will be held on Wednesday 7/23/13 at 5PM GMT.
There is no password for the server and the server name will be KRPWC Round 1
Qualifying is 60 minutes and the race will be 50%
AIDS ARE ALLOWED.

Just one thing... what will be the points system?
1st= 10 Points
2nd= 6
3rd= 4
4th= 3
5th= 2
6th= 1
This system was from F1 a long time ago. If there is something wrong with it, let me know. ;)

I was thinking about that system too.
I always liked that (from the year 1991 to 2002) and the next one (from 2003 to 2009) which was 10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1, but for the number of entry drivers I think the one you said is better ;)

For french timeline (and most of european countries), it is 19:00 local time.

My time zone is GMT-7. So it would be 18:00 if you were in GMT+1.

Iceman had some probems with his computer.
I think it will be reschedulled for tomorrow....
Qualify went ok. many good times, but then the server froze....
The race will either be postponed to Friday or Monday. If you don't see the server on Friday at 5PM GMT, then the race will probably be held on Monday... The computer problem was my fault, I made a dumb mistake. It should be fixed. Yesterday, we had 7 total karts and it was fun. :)
Saturday is when I will be in Clova's race for money.

Round 1 of the KRP World Championship saw Alpha Floor take the win as IceMan (me) and elgypsy got stuck in the dirt of track. Below is the qualifying results, race results, and fastest lap. So here are the standings.

This track is very good, the only problem I see is the dirt..... People get stuck on it too easily and it's almost impossible to get back on track
It IS impossible. Well, now I know. Its still a GREAT track.
Yeah, it's an awesome track. I love those little bumps in some corners :)
I manage to get out of the dirt some times, but it's a hard job to do it....

I have no difficulties to exit from sand, is there a specific place where it's hard to do it?
The fast corner before the right left and the long left onto the straightaway.

ok now i found it, pushing the kart forward and back and steeering right and left it could help, but there is also the kerb, yes anyway the race is ruined, too much time spent exiting from the sand
Yeah. The 2nd Championship will not include Goldenport.
There will be a slight change to the calendar. Kimbolton will be taken out and in its place will be replaced by Ciudad Evita

It always worked although thare was a bug.
You couldn't accelerate at the first rolling start lap, you had to make a second lap and then the rolling start would work.
I think there was some kind of fix to that, but I never had the chance to try it

A nose-to-tail finish for the 639 Kosmic of A. Lundin and the 42 Birel of Birel-Rotax 42. With Corrie on pole, and Lundin off-pole, it was quite the race, and after an altercation on the second lap, Lundin recovered brilliantly and was able to make a great pass on the inside of the front straight and retained the lead up until the checkered flag. Great race by everybody!

Round 4 at Essay was a spectacular race as Andreas Lundin took a SUPER close win over Corrie Hiatt. We had 8 guys race and 5 guys finish. It was a great turnout. So the standings are below.

Yes Maloney, just join the server. But I'm not sure if the races from now be on Saturdays and Sundays or just Saturdays. I will let you guys know when each race will be held. ;)

Round 8 at Kimbolton saw 7 drivers compete but one got ejected for multiple incidents and the other one left early. Emil S. took yet another victory ahead of Andreas Lundin and Kevin Thor. It says that Thor got 2nd but he admitted to cutting the track so he finished 3rd. Emil now steps up into 1st position with 3 races to go.
