Here is my 3rd day of work, this track has been very easy, still need main pit building to be built,
and i will add 3D grass around the tires and other parts of the track. it has both day and night racing at this track in real life.
here are a few pics of my progress.

you are already this far along! wow
I wish we did more racing here in real life :( the track isnt really in use anymoer its so awesome.
I know, a lot of great tracks are not being used much anymore.
Xplex in Vegas is looking pretty bad via google earth view.
here is a update on the build, 2 new pics. got a lot more things added.
Just to nit pick a bit, the sweeper after the hairpin needs to be banked about 15 degrees, and the track texture should have a darker shade to it from the second to last turn til after the first turn. Other than that the track looks spot on
yeah i know about the banking on the big sweeper, as i have been talking with Rodney (owner), for a few days now..
he's been giving me texture tips on what the builds have, and track info, he said the track is mostly flat except for that sweeper section.
as for the grass, well i'm trying to do it best i can, it's not all going to be a 100% copy of everything.
the track layout, width 30 ft. straight 750 ft, full length 0.7 mile, and the slight back on the sweeper, and track side objects.
I even got the lap times for the Rotax and Shifter, for both green and event rubber on the track.. 4 seconds faster with heavy rubber down.
This is my home track. Cant wait for it to be finished. I was actually there just a few weeks ago to do a few laps in one of the rental karts. Hoping to start racing the Chonda class maybe next year its the only class I can afford now that I'm not a kid and have to pay for everything.
Looks great.
Here is my 1st video mdae with Fraps, not sure how to get the proper aspect ratio, as my monitor is a widescreen.
so it may be off a little.. sorry about that.
not sure how to post a video here, so i'll just post the link.

adjust panel length of asph, reduce it to 1 or 0.75m then u have nice round corners. u see at 0:54 that edges i mean
that turn is a very very tight hairpin, and i tried to get it better, but had trouble of the faces over lapping .
I tried to cover it up with the curbs, maybe i can move the curb in a little more,
plus the road is getting a new texture, so no white lines. it should look better when i'm finished tweaking it.
white lines on the edge of a track really make a lower poly corner look worse.
I noticed that you were using rfactor in the video. Do you plan on releasing a krp version too?
I will give permission to EVO to convert it over, as i do not know how to do it myself.
Awesome. Once I buy BTB I will attempt to make Macaurther park which is another older Oklahoma track. Good work on this one can't wait for the release.
You are awsome track builder man. great video preview
Anymore progress? Very excited about this one.
yeah it's finished, just need to finish the pits and add the grid on the AIW file,
but i am also in the same stage with New Castle, so they will both be release at or near the same time.
Today i have started work on Suzuka south course home of the world finals many times.
Cool. Can't wait to try it. It'll be the first time I've ever drove on a track in a sim that I've been to in real life.
when u say suzuka, do u mean the kart track :)
and this track sounds awesome
Yes Suzuka Kart track, known as Suzuka South course.
i have been trying to get the hill close to what they have today in BTB.
got the track, pitlane, all the infield, and outer road made.
next will be to add the partial F1 track near the pit entrance.
I have good pics of the control tower, but the barriers look like big square foam blocks covered in with plastic.
also in game tests confirm that the lap times are spot on. a long way to go on this one as i finish up the other tracks.
and i do like to have side projects while working on my main projects, sometimes you just need a break.
you always forget something or think of new ideas while working on something else.
if anyone is good with BTB and knows how to make good skid marks, i can send you the BTB files, and pics of the real track.

Are the releases for rFactor or KRP?
rFactor but he is a great guy and should let us convert them
by the way slimjim i saw the physcis demo for the Rotax kart. At first i thought it was flexing to much, but then i watched so katring videos in slow motion and they actually do almost the same. The jacking was super cool. Have you modified the pyhsics since that video?
no physics changes done yet, you have to find a balance between tire grip and engine power.
right now the karts have the proper engine torque, and HP.
so if i reduce the tire grip to make it a bit more challenging to drive,
I would have to increase the engine power to make up for lost time on the track.
i do find the slicker tires a bit more fun and challenging, but a normal kart tire will pull a steady 2.4 G's
so it's a dilemma, challenging and real times with a bit more power, or keep the grip with normal power.?
being close to real lap times are important, and who knows if rF physics engine translates everything 100% perfect
so it all about guessing, you put in real numbers, but then you need to make tweaks to get it feeling proper.
I would hate to make another update so quickly, but if i do find something I really like, i will need to make the change.
is wieght real too?
Yes night!
yes real weight, real power, the karts also have real track width, and wheel base, with correct tire size and width.
Evo, how long does it normally take to convert a track like this one?
Rock Island had alot of textures and objects and it only took a weekend.
nice. do you plan on converting this one once its released?
this one and new castle, if i am given permission from Slim Jim.

Thanks EVO. This should be great.
Any updates?
need to finish making the pit garage spots, the starting grid, and it's finished.
i know KRP does not use AI, but I need to make it for rFactor, plus 3Dsimed has released the version 3 beta.
which now i can import my karts to rF2 and start testing... man they could have waited until i finished my tracks..
so many things to do now...lol
I see. Keep it up, looking forward to all the new tracks coming from you.
Oklahoma Motorsport Complex has been released for rFactor
now EVO it's time for you to do your work.
not sure if KRP has night racing, but the rF version does.

got it thanks!
hey is there a pkz file? i dont have win rar
it in rfactor format right now. it needs to be converted to KRP
Tried the rFactor version today and its great, nicely done Slimjim. Did you lose interest in this one EVO?
not at all i just dont have much time these days
