The default setup is good enough. No setup in the world is going to make you a faster driver if you dont know how to drive. Learn each kart and each track, then experience with different setups to see how it affects handling. There are some good threads about setups.

The tracks take 20 laps to rubber in, I think. Playing online with other people will make this happen quicker as there would be more karts to put down rubber faster. Playing off line you have to rubber in the track on your own which takes more time.

Do I add the lines

"[testing]
groove_multiplier=20
wet_multiplier=20"

None of those lines are currently in my profile.ini file.

when testing the dynamic groove develops faster (much faster)  like there are 100 karts on the track online

So then after 10 laps there is rubber like you have driven 100+ now?

The multiplier is clamped to 20.

It should still work, but in testing only.

I would set it lower than 20, 10 for example. It is still enough to get good grip after a few laps. A multiplier of 20 can cause some strange grip effects, because you have a lot of grip after 1 round were you already drove and almost no grip everywhere else.
