General Discussion / Re: air choke

That would be senseless, because when you brake the rpm is already going down in this moment, but you want flush the engine before this moment to avoid destroying it by overheating.

The worst moment for the engine is the "fast reduction" of the rpm's because the Piston does a lot of hard work when breaking down from high to almost 0 rpm ;)

Here you can see it.....When they come down the straight.....Look at foot and Hand ;)
there are another moments in this Race but on the straight its more visible https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yKqkN5zUYYk

Quote from: EVO on March 27, 2013, 11:20:52 PMso you should choke before the braking point?

Yes, because off Trottle i dont have the same effekt (I can go into detail when someone want it) ;)
The Engine takes extra fuel when off Trottle too, but its so low that the effekt isnt what should be

General Discussion / Re: the use of the Air Choke!
March 27, 2013, 08:49:17 PM
In game u use it only on the F100....And you do this because the engine is very high performance and without a clutch, so when you brake and the tires stand still then the engine also do this.....And when you go from 20000rpm to 0rpm in less than 1/100 of a second then the Engine Heat Up immediatly and the Oil Film on the Cylinder can break down when its too hot....Thats why you choke (flush) the engine before this moment....

And you do this before the brake point on full trottle.....You must learn it.....to long before the brake point and you loose lot of speed, Too late then it doesnt work how it schould

I hope you understand what i write, my english isnt the best ;)  cant say all things like I want ;)

Because the engines are not so "High Performance" like in the old 100cc classes...More cc (125) and less HP + less rpm...AND they have a clutch....without it like in FA or IC-A the engine stops when you brake hard so that the tires stop for a moment.....And IN the engine the Temerature rises up very fast in the braking moment (I dont go in the detail now) ;)

I must say one important thing.....in real we used choke only on the Rotary Valve Engines because in the IC-A Class (like the 100cc in game with Reed Valve)  you can damage the Valves (because of the extreme pressure and wide opening of the valves in the moment of choking).....Lots of people choke with the IC-A engines but in Races we dont did this.

PC is ok (when not looking at the crappy specs) ;) ;D he is lame but it all works and is up to date :)

But what means "Clean Install"? ::) When i Install Beta8, Beta7 were also installed (I dont delete it)

And why i can open a server, and people can join, but i cant join others? :o

@LIAM-36-AUS: I try it 3 or 4 times...and in every try I was waiting for more than 10 minutes and then quit because it was annoying me ;)

General Discussion / Re: F100 - what is this?

Formula 100 is the same as Formula A. It was the 100cc class that was replaced by the 125cc KF1 class in 2007. You can get them air cooled but most commonly they are water cooled.

I drive this classes in the late 80s and 90s and thats not in 100% right.....at first there were three classes in 100cc.....Ic-A(100cc with Reed Valve), the Formula A (100cc with Rotary Valve) and the Formula Super A (the same as FA but with bigger and another Carburetor , another exhaust system and another things that were free)

At First they all were Air Cooled (because the technic in this times were another) and lately all Water Cooled and FA and IC-A become one class....In Shifters there were another classes too....there were the ICC (125cc and Reed Valve) and the Formula C (125cc and Reed Valve)......The first FA with Water Colled engines were in the German DKM and it was the KZH engine from Mach1.......And because the watercooled with the time become more powerful and not as loud as the Air cooled one all the classes change it....

And 22000rpm did ONLY the FSA...The FA and IC-A did normally up to 20000rpm (not more), the FC to 18000rpm and the ICC like today(KZ classes) at around 16000.....

I could write and write but i dont think that this should be like a Book or something ;) ::)

In kZ1 we use the same tires like the other classes like KF1.

Only when the tires are free (World Championships for example) we use the softest.
