Bug reports / Steering Ratio

Apologies if this has already been mentioned, only had a quick look but nobody else seems to have reported this.

There is now a bug with the steering ratio, it gives the options STD and Max, but there is no minimum, just a blank space (previously there were 3 options). If you choose the blank space the game crashes. Is there any chance of this being a quick fix that will be released soon? It is currently the only thing stopping us from using the excellent new Beta 7 (thank you PiBoSo by the way, it's great to finally have a kart that doesn't roll when you hit a kerb!)

Track Editing / Absolute pit coordinates

Hi,

I'm trying to place the pit starting positions on my track, but I want them going in a different direction to the centerline. I'm trying to use the 'absolute' positioning function but no matter what I enter, the 'X', 'Z', 'spacing' and 'columns' boxes have no effect what so ever on the pit positions - they just stay stuck to the centerline. Only the 'angle' box actually does as it should. Am I missing something or is this a bug that needs fixing?

Hi,

Not really a bug, more of a general issue, but I think the way that the karts react over kerbs really needs to be looked at for the next beta:

Karts shouldn't just roll like that, even over high kerbs.

Hi,

I've noticed a small bug with KRP's physics.

On tracks which have elevation change mid corner, I've noticed that the steering judders quite a lot. It's most noticeable with uphill corners, particularly if they're cambered (but also sometimes on steep downhill corners as well). It's not anything major, I just think it needs looking at.

Track Editing / Spec Maps

Hi guys,

Quick question: I want to add a spec map to the tarmac on my track. I add it in BTB and it looks great in rFactor. When I convert the track to KRP though, I add the spec map in the 3DSMax material editor, but no matter what I do I can't get the nice track shine in KRP that I get in rFactor. Could someone possibly walk me through how to do it?

Bug reports / Loss of FFB after a few laps

Hi,

I've noticed a bug with KRP which I thought had been pretty much fixed with Beta 4, but which is now even worse with Beta 5. After doing 1, maybe 2 laps I lose FFB completely. It's usually after going over a bump or a curb. It happens with my setup at home (Driving Force GT) and the one on the simulator we're running KRP on, which has a FREX wheel. With Beta 4 it happened much less frequently, but now I've downloaded Beta 5 it's exactly the same as it was with Beta 3.

Is there any chance of this being fixed for the next release?
