Do you want a 100cc engine?
Yes :D
Yes with 34hp and more than 20k RPM
that would be awesome.
Yeah with the most power we could get out of such an engine, as we don't have to pay for engine revisions :D
And with no front handbrake, so basically with KC3 behaviour but way more power. And please, please amazing high rev sound.

And not to forget the hand choke gesture, effecting the engine of course.
With all that my 100cc dreams would come true in form of krp.
Thank you!

My dream also :)
Comon PiBoSo.You can do it!
More karts, more fun.
Nothing else to say.
What do you want with these engines?
100ccm's are dead...
SOmething like a Biland 250ccm would be great (:
Beta 5 will already introduce a 250cc fourstroke.

Is it really?
On my local track I know they still run it, races also.
One ICA engine for me too 8)
Yes, definitely.
And with the possibility of engine seizures, the same as in real. It would be really cool to lost a win in the last lap on a fast straight line when we'll be racing online :P

Yeah and to prevent that you would have to choke the airbox properly, that would be amazing.
How big is the effect if you run it very lean and you don't choke, can you risk an engine seizure in the race then just because of that or do you mean an engine failure by coincident?
I voted for yes, but we should not stress PiBoSo, i think he is working hard and fast implementing new features at the moment :)
Just write 100cc and you get 13 replies in less then a day :D
Well, there are some 100ccm around the world..But there are no championchips with it .. ;)
125
I HAVE A DREAM: 100cc in KRP!
:D
F100! good ol' Air cooled machines! just sitting on 24,500 Rpm and only rear brakes! my fave engine to race. :)
this is so un realistic but wat about a 300cc motor with 2 gears like a DD2 (direct drive 2 speed) its a real engine but the 300cc would be my dream come on piboso open the door do as the best u can and we will probably keep begging but ur our dream all u hav to do is make it come true
Dont say stupid things, Just click on Yes by the poll
:D
:O 29 votes in one week Awesome.
VOTE YES!!!
90 %wants the engine!
I'we been trying to work on a mod for GP bikes reguarding motors, im trying to get the motor file from the KRT to work in GPbikes to make a RS50 any of you lot tryed tryed our 125 motor in the kart file?
Getting a new bike/kart to show is easy enough but the core crash's when i hit race anyone over this problem, im wondering if i need to buy the full version of KRT to unencript the file
Intercontinental A or Formula A
ICA!!
+1 Please PiBoSo motor is a great legend. ;D
It seems that everyone wants this engine! ;)
Comon PiBoSo if you do it + the new chasis for beta 6 ill do a thing what u like :)
If Eslotes and racehard find the one that voted no they will kill him ;D
Hahahaha no i dont kill girls xD

Aircoolded or Watercooled 100cc engine??? aircooled and rotory valve (side airbox) would add some great new lew look to the game
watercooled with a big radiator
+1 EVO
PiBoSo choose :)
Both ;D
Is that a side airbox? Or just a standard one mounted in a different way?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-XFYNfu1e4
Btw you can see that guy choking the airbox and tuning the carb. These two would definitely be great new gestures/features.
...and he tucks :)
JICA engines are different than ICA. I believe they are piston port or reed valve induction. rotory valve karts have a very distinct look . The side carb and intake should fit in the new style bodywork. very cool. very unique.

I like more the ICA Models like thoose. All are with water cooled.
TM K11B 36hp aprox. maybe more
(http://www.kartetpantera.com/images_index/News_image/Offenbach_fin/178-7819_IMG.jpg)
Vortex rva 36hp aprox. maybe more
(http://www.bordogna.us/images/products/C_VortexRVA100cc.jpg)
or with gold
(http://gokartsghidella.it/file/gokartsghidella/Z_ecommerce_SANY1818.JPG)
IAME REEDJET 35HP aprox maybe more
(http://www.wrightkarts.com/images2/Image%202011%20Engine%20-%20Iame%20Parilla%20Reedjet%20RL%20Top%20100cc%20-%20Clean.jpg)
MAXTER 100cc ICA
(http://www.karting1.co.uk/news/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/karting1-FA-1.jpg)
Sonik 100cc ICA its a 125 but they use in 100cc category before.
I Dont think that they are more.
the last one i have. Its a dog compared to the others 34hp even though its 25cc more and more wieght
I think the higher power to weight ratio air cooled will be best it will really teach the racer to monitor the engine
The sonik is 125cc but they used in the category 100cc
and i preffer the last's models of ICA
But PiBoSo choose :) he is the boss we can only talk :)
If you're gonna do it, do it right. ICA is too low in the ranking, not worth bothering. It went like this, top to bottom: FSA, FA, ICA.
Go full-on FSA: 100cc Aircooled rotary valve, 30mm three jet slide carb, weighs next to nothing and tyres so soft the front wheels came off the ground when you siezed an engine. The FSA motors are the ones that were making 36-38, not the ICAs. ICA had restrictions imposed that limited performance.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mjt07Zx7f68
No disrespect but if you are doing 100cc, do FSA or fuuughetaboutit! Factoring in jetting, including loading up the motor and soforth and siezures would be tough, but boy would it be fun.

I think LooseEqualsFast makes some great points Formula Super A class was similar tp the turbo or wing car era in formula 1, light and lots of power. Schwoni owns one, why do you think he is so fast?
Schwoni he is not fast he use wallhack jajaja
what is a wall hack? I didnt see any hacking when i was driving with him and he set a record
just a joke
Older suggestion here for Formula A: forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=73.0
I'll see if I can find an FSA (Formula Super A) dyno sheet. Might be hard to come by given the developmental status of the class.
Since one year has passed that I've posted this power and torque curve and in the meantime there are a lot more 100cc and engine experts around, I'll through this in once more. Got it directly from Iame back then. What do you think? It has slightly more than 30hp and is a reedjet.

we need a Rotory valve FSA engine dyno. IAME make any of those?
I think the message is clear :)

I might have one on the way. Watch this space......
yes +1 :P :P
I am really interested in the rotary valve FSA. any news on the dyno and which was considered the best at the time.
i the videos there are alot of vortex, rotax, and italsistem
yes it would be brilliant
Yeah, I would like to return 25 years later when I was young and driving real karts.
I'd like to ear the sound of the bee (their very high pitch sound) as in my souvenir.
nostalgia :'(
yes

I guess PiBoSo has already decided wether it is aircooled or water, at least I hope he has, if not it'll still be a long wait for either Beta 7 or 100cc.
Both are cool, we already have a lot of watercooled ones so an aircooled engine would be nice, but watercooled looks cool too.

ok but why do u have that video? ??? by the way Ipswitch is one of my kart clubs i go to ;D
Here's a photo of my 100cc kart engine i wanted to share, its a Yamaha KT100J
Don't have that video, just one of my absolute favourites.
I started out in the 100cc kt100. Verty fun to drive. I say yes.
You need a kt-100 with a patriot 2 disk clutch with ability to adjust cluth and carb (carb on the fly would be awsomely realistic) No front hand brake and a 30mm tube chassis and your set i would get soooooo many more people to join if you got that going and no matter what people say 100cc is not dead they are actually still very common in th usa. They are not dying just a bunch of unfair rule against them so people go to the 4 strokes. Oh and make sure YOU DO NOT RUN PIPE RUN THE 4 HOLE CAN this will make the true 100cc feel come out and you will feel the diference. This would be a fantastic addition to the sim.
I didn't know you could get a four hole can for them. Not in Australia at least.

what is a four hole can ? ???
It is the sportman class in the U.S. affordable, reliable, and useful up to the pro ranks, this makes it very competitive. Most drivers switch to TAG as they get more experienced. TAG is like KF2 power levels, but with non manual operated front brakes and a weight penalty for having front brakes.
The superbox or supercan class (4 holes) use this tiny can shapped exhaust to restrict the rpm and prolonging the life of the engine (14,000rpm 14hp vs 16,000rpm 18hp KT100 pipe. ). The class is about being smooth, but aggressive.
if you want a real karting experience with out all the complexities get a used ICA, FA , or FSA engine they are 100cc and over 30hp direct drive (no clutch power loss)
You can can get a great deal on them, but might not last too long ($300 for just an engine)
the Iame Parilla Sudam is 38hp (stock) it is basically a Iame Parilla ReedJet (ICA 100cc) bored and stroked to 125cc.
Its awesome! i believe they use it exclusively in Brazil though. It is homologated until 2018!
"There are even stories about them being tuned to produce over 50hp, which is just mental!"
