I'm trying to get a grip on 3DS Max and I can't figure out why it's not including a bit while I'm converting it to a editable poly. I've been following "Kart Racing Pro Track Tutorials" on youtube. Could anyone help me with this please?

Difficult to explain without sitting at 3Ds Max since years, but you are missing a step (surface modifier) or doing the conversion wrong (you should do it on the right handside menu).
Sorry for the rough explanation but I havent used it since many years so I would need to try myself.
