Hi guys
Tried to gather interest in a kart racing pro championship last year. Wasn't much interest. So I was wondering if this year if I giveback dates, engines, tracks and times out would people like to commite to this?
Let me know in comments! The sooner you show interest the earlier we can get started!
Please find below what I have come up with so far
Engine:KF3
Chassis:any choice
Tracks: whilton mill, llandow, shenington, rye house, genk, and finally pfi
Dates: tba
Cheers guys
Anyone who has any rude thoughts and comments towards this idea please keep it to yourself.
For me it's great!!!
I have also 3 friends who can join.
Can we put more european racetrack like Lonato, Sarno, La Conca, Ampfing, etc
Days: monday, tuesday (I suppose for sure everybody of us is on real racetrack during weekend!)
Time: between 17,00 to 22,00
Race format: 1 racing day (Free practice 1 and 2 (15 minutes), Qualy (10 min), Final 15 laps.
For example:
Meeting time 18,00
Free Practice 1 18,30-18,45
Free Practice 2 19,30-19,45
Qualy 20,10-20,20
Race 21,00 + 15 laps
We can do on monday one racetrack, on tuesday a different racetrack.
Do you think possible?

To any one wishing to start a league who has poorly hashed out ideas and a total lack of planning please put some effort into your posts before trying something you are not willing to see through ;)
@Dede80
In regards to " free practice 1 and free practice 2 "
Best case scenario is that the series uses a dedicated server and there will be unofficial practice before start time, then a half hour or hour of official practice then qual, race, etc
I doubt this " series " will use a dedicated server in all honesty.
Best format would be the standard 1hr practice, 10-15minute qual, pre final, final.
So time schedule wise would be
Start Practice - 18:00
Start Qual - 18:30 ( If you already have had some pre practice, might as well only have half hour of practice not the full hour )
Start Pre Final - 18:45
Start Final - 19:00
* Roughly *
Keep it as short as possible while trying to build up the series, don't over complicate it or make it drag on because people tend to generally lose interest when the event drags out. + Don't restart races just because someone rolled their kart forward on the grid, or because someone crashed.
And don't let Finn Gehrsitz and his mates race, they are trash and will just take everyone out.
what time zone?
Also please post the links to all of the tracks.
Hi it is someone that have started it already
Glad to see response to this guys! I am happy to start and I'll make some dates that it can be during the day! I think judging by what you are saying it should be in week time and it will be run to time zone of gb
These are the dates I come up with
Llandow 30th march
Whilton mill 5 April
Shenington 19 April
Rye house 26 April
Genk 3 may
Pfi 10 may
And for the day it will be the same format
16:00 free practice (25mins)
16:30 qauli (12 mins)
16:47 pre final (10 mins)
17:00 grande final (12 mins)
Again, could you please post the links to the tracks to make it easier for everyone + there is multiple verisions of some of the tracks.
I will post tracks up as soon as I get over 7 entries. I'll leave a template you have to fill out and leave in the comments to enter the series

You really should just link the tracks openly on the main page of the series if the tracks are on some level private then you either shouldn't use them or you need to get written permission to release them
Please visit this

We can start in this way, meanwhile we find a solution for server.

What a joke of a series, me and Cory got removed from the series for arguing about the organiser (Ethan/lingy76) hitting both me and Cory off, Alessandro's and Ethan's argument was that we didn't have video proof, and that we should just let it go because it's just a game, both of those arguments are not apart of the rule book, and also just stupid. So sad to see another series going to crap.
No need to fuck us over. And don't blame us for not having any video evidence. And don't blame me for it, as it was ethan's Decision
To be fair, Kasper isn't f***ing you guys over, it doesn't say in your rules that you need video evidence for incidents.
I/We understand that Ethan was the one who freaked out and banned us, literally for nothing more than us arguing the ruling and the fact we were both taken out by him.
The series is fun and I advise anyone who wants to race on KRP to join the series, but for people to want to stay competing in the series, you can't hide behind the " Video evidence " call, when its not stated in the rules that it was needed, and as everyone knows, KRP replays are really really short in the last releases ( So in future people will have to change settings to extend it to prevent this )

Video of me mis judging the speed the group was going and hitting you?
Okay lol
Hardly relevant to the situation that we were talking about.
This has absolutely nothing to do with this situation, and it wasnt even during a race
it was in the formation lap , shame i stop to record ,on the Heat 1 you just crashed me twice in 3 corners. What a shame

Also when you hit me into turn 2 to take me out.... Shame.....
when was that? I only remeber that you started on Pole and just as we cross over the yellow line , you turnt completly to the left , but didnt worked , and i was in P1 after that so you just went on the grass and didnt brake on Turn 3

I never " Turnt completly to the left " I merged over and it seemed as though you merged to the middle as well, we made contact, I went across the infield of turn 1, I came back on after turn 1, Joel P1, You P2, I was P3, and then I went for a move and made a bit of contact due to lag
I guess we will ignore you going to pits and cutting the track and re joining over and over
I recived a penalty for it alredy and accepted it so i dont know why you say that
anyway see you in the next round

So you let your friend ban 2 people from a series for complaining about dirty driving by said friend because they don't have video evidence, then you say the people that were banned are fucking the series over by telling others about how unprofessional the series is at handling incidents that involve the admins. Good one

Its not my championship so I can't do anything about it. And unprofessional?? That's the point of the championship, as I said before, its a bit of fun and it's not called SKWC for a reason. I've heard from Cory how easily rage you get, so I'm trying to be as nice as possible with you

You can't say it's meant to be unprofessional when you say in the description of the championship that it will decide who is the best at the game, and also you clearly supported Ethan in his decision. And also when tf did Cory say anything about Raise?

There is a huge difference between a relaxed not super cut throat series and one that is plain and simple unprofessional in how it is run. A for fun series and properly run are not two mutually exclusive things but you not understanding that concept was evident from the start so it doesn't surprise me we have arrived at the point where you feel the need to make false statements about my character in a desperate attempt to defend the failures of you and Ethan. Speaking of which lingy is the owner of the series but you're the one defending his actions, makes one think what really goes on behind the scenes
I see where this is going and I don't like it. (http://forum.kartracing-pro.com/index.php?topic=5569.msg43180#msg43180)
I encourage you all to read that thread and reflect on what you're getting yourselves into.
Alessandro, I think it was wrong of you to take a dig at SKWC - the organizers put a lot of time and effort into making a series like that.
The people having issues in this thread have had more than their fair share of drama on this forum and I think that we're headed down a bad path. Please, for the sake of a community that is just coming back together, don't be so hostile. If someone wants to run their league in an unfair manner, that is their choice. Don't race the league if you don't like it. Give respect, get respect.

I don't really think you get my concept either. It's not meant to be a properly ran championship, it's just fun, just something that we want to do because we have nothing better to do. We never ever asked you to comment on this or join the series, never asked you to try and correct my errors. This thread is to let us know wether they're taking part of the championship, not to try and correct us on how to do it. The championship has already got underway, we haven't had any problems apart from the whole Cory and kasper thing that could've been avoided. We are already approaching the round with great expectations. This format has worked, it's worked in the past as well. So please, unless you're planning to take part, don't write on this thread
